Alia Bhatt is one of the most stunning actresses in Bollywood. The actress has been mesmerising everyone with her back-to-back successes off lately. For the unversed, Alia is not only an actress but also the global ambassador for the famous brand, Gucci, as well as the CEO of the Rs. 150 crore clothing brand, Ed-a-Mama. In her personal life, Alia is happily married to the love of her life, Ranbir Kapoor. And the duo is currently enjoying every bit of parenthood with the arrival of their little princess. Alia is now busy with the promotions of her upcoming film, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani. And now, in a recent event, Alia revealed how she is maintaining her personal and professional life post becoming a mom.
At an event in Delhi, on July 12, 2023, Alia Bhatt talked about how she has been juggling between her parenting journey and career. Talking about the same, the actress stated that everyone has a balance that we all need to maintain, like family, work life, children, health, and themselves. Alia mentioned that everyone needs to maintain a balance it is what life is. She also shared that one needs to keep moving, put one step in front of the other every day and not think about what one is not doing right and how one has gotten through the day with a smile on the face. The actress then stated that even if one has a couple of tears rolling down, it is okay.

Further, at the same event, Alia Bhatt opened up about her maternity clothing brand Ed-a-Mama and shared the story behind the idea of the same. Elaborating on the same, Alia mentioned that during her pregnancy, she was very nervous about how her style would evolve. So she started making little changes to her wardrobe and then came the maternity collection. Talking about her brand's plan, Alia revealed that she is going forward to include personal care, sustainable diapers, and sustainable toys to it. Elaborating more on the same, Alia shared:
"During pregnancy, I was very nervous as to how my style was going to evolve the next couple of months. So, I started making little changes to my wardrobe and then came the maternity collection. I didn’t expect it – I didn’t even plan it. And then, subsequently came infant wear and all of that. So, now we have a collection ranging from 0-14 years and my plan going forward is to include personal care, sustainable diapers, sustainable toys and of course, storytelling being at the centre of it, that also will start soon."
Talking about her brand, Alia Bhatt then shared that earlier it was not her dream to create the brand initially, but now it has become her dream. She also stated that the most treasured moment for her is when she sings a song or reads a book to her baby girl, Raha. Alia mentioned:
"I know that today as a mum, one of the precious things is when I read a book to my daughter or I sing a song to her. While my dream in the beginning was not to create Ed-a-Mamma universe, but that’s my plan now. I want people to feel connected to nature, your planet and to celebrate the child within themselves."

On July 11, 2023, Alia Bhatt posted a new YouTube video in which she revealed the behind-the-scenes look from the song, Tum Kya Mile. The actress revealed that she was expected to return to the shape of her character, 'Rani,' four months after giving birth to her daughter, Raha. Alia also stated that she had to start slowly and carefully to lose postpartum weight.
