Actress Dalljiet Kaur and her husband Nikhil Patel have been leading the headlines for the past few days as it has been reported that all is not well in their paradise. Dalljiet, who got married to businessman Nikhil in March 2023, is reportedly heading for separation. The couple raised many eyebrows when they deleted all their pictures from social media.
And now, both Nikhil and Dalljiet have unfollowed each other on social media. As per a report by BollywoodLife, they followed each other on Instagram earlier but have now pressed the unfollow button. Not just this, the report also claimed that Nikhil had earlier changed his Instagram bio to ‘Girl Boy Dad’ after marrying Dalljiet but has now changed it again to ‘Girl Dad’.

For the unversed, Dalljiet Kaur was previously married to actor, Shalin Bhanot, and the couple has a son named Jaydon, who lives with Dalljiet. However, Dalljiet and Shalin parted ways in 2016 after their marriage hit a rough patch. Then, the actress gave love and marriage a second chance and tied the knot with Nikhil Patel, who works in a finance company, on March 18, 2023. Dalljiet's UK-based businessman-husband currently lives in Nairobi, Kenya, and he has two daughters from his previous marriage, Aariyana and Anika.
Rumours about Dalljiet and Nikhil started earlier this month after the actress deleted all her pictures with Nick Patel, including their wedding pictures. Not just this, the rumours got more mileage after Dalljiet dropped ‘Patel’ from her name. Amid all the speculations, Dalljiet’s team issued a statement regarding the ongoing rumours.

The statement issued by Dalljiet’s team didn’t accept or deny the ongoing rumours, which further shocked the actress’ fans. The official statement can be read as:
“I hereby state that Dalljiet and Jaydon (her son) are in India currently for Dalljiet’s dad’s surgery followed by her Maa’s surgery as well, which required them to be beside him. In addition to this, I would only like to say that Dalljiet, at the moment, would not like to make any comments on anything because the kids are in the picture. Please respect her kids’ privacy and please consider this as the only statement she would like to give out.”
According to a report by ETimes, Dalljiet and Nikhil started facing trouble soon after their marriage and realised that they were 'incompatible'. The insider told the news outlet the situation worsened in the last two months. As per the source:
“Initially, everything seemed fine in their marriage, but it was short-lived. Problems cropped up between the couple soon after. Dalljiet and Nikhil realised they were incompatible. The situation worsened in the last two months. If problems persist, separation might be the only option."
