Bollywood actress, Esha Gupta made her debut at the Cannes 2023 and yet again swooned millions of hearts with her looks. For the unversed, Esha was crowned with the Miss India International title in 2007. Afterwards, she made her debut with the 2012 film, Jannat 2 and was last seen in the movie, One Day: Justice Delivered. Not only that, the gorgeousness has also entered the web series platform and has constantly been giving one after other mesmerising performances.
On May 16, 2023, Esha Gupta graced the red carpet of the 76th Cannes Film Festival in a Nicolas Jebran SS23 couture gown. Esha's gown featured an extra plunging neckline with a unique high-rise collar. Moreover, we can spot a sheer customised floral design at the front side of her dress, along with full bell sleeves and a thigh-high slit.

Esha completed her pristine white look with diamond earrings and heels. In addition, nude makeup, including blushed cheeks, pink smokey eyes, winged eyeliner, defined brows, glossy lips and a messy bun hairdo, rounded off her serene look for the red carpet.
Once in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Esha revealed how making it big in the Indian film industry was never a cakewalk for her. She opened up about her experience as a dusky girl and how people advised her to take skin whitening injections and to get a nose job. She recalled how one of her aunts called her 'Kaali Maa' and why it negatively impacted her mentality and shattered her confidence. But according to her, the decision should come from within that person's heart, and strictly not due to the pressure of society. Moreover, the actress clearly stated that she loves her skin tone.

Then, Esha revealed the one thing that is one of the prime reasons behind her dusky complexion when as a toddler, she took some wrong pills, following which she was hospitalised and had to get a blood transfusion. After that, she became very weak and dark. She also recalled the time when someone told her to change her nose because it was quite round and not as sharp as that of any other actress. Esha then talked about how people embraced her skin colour in Spain and added that whenever someone asked her how she got this mesmerising skin tone, she proudly said, 'It is my Indian skin tone'.
