Fahmaan Khan is one of the most talented actors in the television industry. The handsome actor knows how to win millions of hearts with his top-notch acting performances. He rose to fame with his roles as 'Dr. Veerpratap Singh Rajawat' in the show, Apna Time Bhi Aayega and 'Aryan Singh Rathore' in Imlie. Talking about his personal life, Fahmaan's chemistry with his Imlie co-star, Sumbul Touqeer Khan grabbed a lot of attention. The duo even were speculated to be dating each other. However, a few months back, Fahmaan opened up about his fallout with Sumbul and blamed the latter's father for the same. And now, in a recent interview, Fahmaan again talked about his previous comment.
In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, Fahmaan Khan was asked about his equation with Sumbul. To this, the actor shared that they never had any problems with each other, but it was Sumbul's papa, who had some issues. Talking about how his past comment about the same helped him, Fahmaan mentioned:
"Humare beech me kabhi koi problem tha hi nahi. Her father Touqeer sahab had but let’s not get there. But the thing that changed after that is that people understood my side and that’s what I wanted eventually."

In the same interview, Fahmaan Khan stated why he came forward and shared his side of the story earlier. The actor mentioned that he kept mum for a long time, but he had to face backlash for no reason, which is why he opened up about the reason behind his fallout with Sumbul. Fahmaan shared:
"Mai bohot din tak chup tha aur uska ye matlab tha ki mujhe ye media ke andar ya public me nahi lana tha. But mujhe bahut galiyan pad rahi thi. That’s why I came forward and spoke about it. That helped in my favour in a certain way. I think it helped to subtly end that parade. There was a huge parade of things, and it just kept coming, so that thing just kept it quiet. Now everything is fine."
Earlier, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Fahmaan Khan mentioned that he and Sumbul were supposed to do a music video with singer, Tabish. But the latter's father asked her to cancel that song. Talking about the same, Fahmaan shared that Sumbul's father actually didn't like a video clip that featured the actress lying on the actor's hand while they fell asleep on the sets of Imlie. Talking more about the same, Fahmaan mentioned:
"He very clearly mentioned that ‘nahi, Tabish ka gaana nahi karunga main’. And immediately he told me about his music video with Sumbul. Wo baat mujhe chubhi thodi. Mujhe laga ki ye galat hai. Itna maafi maangne ke baad, bachcha samajh ke maaf kar do. To maine kaha ki uncle aisa hai, to jo aapka music video hai, wo bhi nahi karunga main. Aap apna kijiye, main apna kar leta hun. We’ll part ways. And I kept that call."

It was back in 2022 when a promo video of the show, Ravivaar With Star Parivaar featured Fahmaan Khan and Sumbul Touqeer Khan's mesmerising dance performance on the song, Kaate Nahin Kate....I Love You from the film, Mr. India. However, soon after, the show's host, Arjun Bijlani asked Fahmaan and Sumbul if they had started falling in love with each other off-screen after the onscreen romance. To this, the duo started blushing while looking at each other. This led to the speculation that something was brewing between the two. Moreover, it's worth mentioning that neither Fahmaan nor Sumbul ever opened up about their dating rumours.
