Well, her father, Hassan Khan got married for the second time, to Nilofer on June 15, 2023. Since then, Sumbul has been dropping some priceless glimpses with her step-mother and her step-sister.
On July 3, 2023, Sumbul Touqeer took to her Instagram story and dropped an adorable picture with her six-year-old step-sister. In the priceless picture, the sister duo can be seen posing happily for the camera and they looked really cute together. Moreover, it was their amazing bond that melted our hearts. Sumbul's step-sister can be seen sitting in her lap, while the actress hugged her lovingly. While Sumbul donned a basic white T-shirt, her baby sister looked cute in a Mickey Mouse-printed outfit. Along with the picture, atop it, Sumbul penned:

On June 29, 2023, Sumbul had taken to her IG handle and dropped two adorable pictures from her Eid-Al-Adha celebration. In the first picture, the actress and her sister, Saniya could be seen hugging their new mom. Moreover, the trio looked beautiful in their respective traditional outfits. While Sumbul donned a black embroidered kurti, her sister looked stunning in a pastel-blue suit. In the following picture, Sumbul and Saniya could be seen flashing their big smile as they got clicked with their step-sister.
Reports about Sumbul's father, Touqeer Khan's marriage were rife in the media for quite a long time. However, it was Sumbul, who confirmed the reports in an interview with The Times of India. Talking about the same, the actress had said that she and her sister, Saniya were happy for their father. Sumbul also expressed her excitement over the same and stated that they were eagerly waiting for their baby sister to join them. The actress also revealed that it was her father, Touqueer's brother, Iqbal Hussain Khan, who convinced him to get married again. In her words:
"We are very happy and looking forward to welcoming them into our family. Along with our father's wife, a new sister will also join our family and we are extremely excited about it. Our bade papa Iqbal Hussain Khan played an instrumental role in this marriage. I am grateful to him."

In an interview with The Times Of India, Sumbul had opened up about her parent's divorce and revealed they got separated when she was just six years old. The actress further stated that their life was not easy, but their father, Touqueer never showed them. She also mentioned that her abba has always been a hands-on father and he used to make her and Saniya ready for school when they were kids. Sumbul also added that her father never remarried, thinking that the step-mother might not treat them right.
