Aamir Khan and his ex-wife, Reena Dutta's doting daughter, Ira Khan got married to the love of her life, Nupur Shikhare on January 3, 2024. The much-in-love couple registered their marriage amid their close friends and relatives at Taj Lands End in Bandra. Ahead of their ceremony, Nupur grabbed many eyeballs with his unique style of baarat. His video soon went viral on social media, and netizens started reacting to it strongly.
A Reddit user shared a video, featuring Nupur Shikhare as he made a unique entry with his baaratis at his wedding with Ira Khan. In the video, the then-groom-to-be was initially seen jogging with his friends amid the Mumbai traffic. Reportedly, they jogged more than 8 km from Santa Cruz to Bandra, to reach the wedding venue while avoiding the traffic jam. Afterwards, in the same video, Nupur was seen dancing his heart out with the baaratis and also hugged his mother and a few other relatives.

All the while, in the video, Aamir Khan's damad, Nupur was spotted being decked up in a black sleeveless t-shirt. He had teamed it with white shorts and a pair of sky-blue sneakers. Later, Nupur was also seen registering his marriage with Ira in the same attire.
The Reddit user captioned the video as "The weirdest baarat I have ever seen. This tops all the casual outfits worn by Amir Khan over the years." As soon as the Reddit user posted the video, netizens started reacting to it. One netizen commented, "He looks like he gatecrashed his own wedding!" Another user mentioned, "In the times of sabyasachi yeh Amul baniyan ka endorsement kar rahe hai." One more comment read, "Please let this not become a trend! I mean, dude came running and didn't even take a shower before getting all up in everyone else's business! Ewww!"

Soon after Ira and Nupur's wedding, several pictures and videos of the same made rounds on the internet. For the wedding, Ira opted for a golden-hued dhoti teamed with a black embroidered blouse and a dupatta. She completed her look with kolhapuri sandals, a choker neckpiece, matching earrings, and a mang teeka for her big day. On the other hand, while Nupur came to the celebration wearing a black vest and a pair of shorts, he later changed into a blue-toned sherwani.
