Boney Kapoor and his late wife, Sridevi's younger daughter, Khushi Kapoor made her debut in the world of cinema with Zoya Akhtar's directorial, The Archies. The film was released on the OTT platform, Netflix on December 7, 2023. Apart from Khushi, the film also witnessed the debut entry of young actors, including Suhana Khan, Vedang Raina, Agastya Nanda, Dot, Mihir Ahuja, and Yuvraj Menda into Bollywood. However, the film also garnered huge attention due to the relationship rumours between Suhana and Agastya, and Vedang and Khushi. Finally, in an interview, Vedang addressed his dating rumours with Khushi and also mentioned the qualities he wants in his partner.
In an interview with Times Now, Vedang Raina clarified if the speculations about his relationship with Khushi Kapoor are true. He was asked about the same, to which, he mentioned being currently single. Denying the several reports that surfaced online stating that Vedang and Khushi were dating, the actor cleared the air and mentioned his and Khushi's shared interest in music and many other things. However, he expected time to change and said:
“Khushi and I connected on so many levels. We had a similar taste in music. Khushi and I are not dating. I have a really strong bond with her. We’ve known each other for so long, and we have connected on many things. I am single right now. When the time is right, hopefully that situation changes.”

Further, in the same conversation, the actor mentioned what all qualities, Vedang wants in his ideal partner. To this, the actor revealed that the characteristics he wants he looks for in a relationship, include ‘loyal and sweet’. Vedand shared:
“I want my life partner to be loyal, sweet, and hard-working.”
Even before the release of their debut film, Khushi and Vedang were featured in one of Myntra's advertisement videos. On August 4, 2023, the official Instagram handle of the shopping website, Myntra posted their then-new ad video. In the video, Khushi was seen romancing Vedang, while they were seen flaunting their tunning style statements in multiple outfits. In one of the segments of the clip, Khushi looked beautiful in a loose-fit outfit, including a white shirt, a sweater, a checkered skirt and an oversize jacket. In another clip, the Khushi channelled her inner Barbie as she donned a pink-coloured off-shoulder dress that featured feather detail. In addition, Vedang looked handsome in his respective outfits.

Khushi and Vedang indeed share a good bond and proof of the same is often found. For instance, on August 3, 2023, Khushi was spotted at her BFF, Aaliyah Kashyap and Shane Gregoire's engagement. In the pictures and videos going viral on the internet then, Khushi was seen posing happily with Vedang for the paps stationed outside there. Moreover, they twinned in matching pink-hued outfits at the ceremony. While Khushi opted for a light pink-coloured pre-draped saree, Vedang looked dapper in a matching-hued embroidered kurta paired with a white pyjama. Khushi, on the other hand, paired her saree with a strappy blouse, dewy makeup, minimal accessories and open tresses.
