The talented artist entered as a wildcard participant, but won the hearts of audiences nevertheless. Apart from her strong contending abilities, Himanshi also grabbed attention for her then-blossoming relationship with co-contestant, Asim Riaz. The two of them dated one another even after the show ended. However, it was only recently that the duo called off their relationship publicly. And now, days after her breakup, the diva was spotted back at work.
Himanshi Khurana created a stir on the internet when she dropped a massive announcement about her personal life. The diva mentioned that due to inter-religious matters, she and her longtime beau, Asim Riaz have broken up. Moreover, their breakup news also brewed a controversy, since several leaked chats of the former couple right before their announcement of breakup surfaced on the internet, which gave a glimpse of the discord the two of them faced. And now, merely a few days later, Himanshi was seen back at work, as she shot for an upcoming project with actor, Gautam Gulati. For her look, the diva was seen wearing a black midi-dress, teamed with a white full-sleeved shrug. In the glimpse, she was seen having a candid chat with Gautam Gulati.

After dating one another for 3 years, it was on December 6, 2023, when Himanshi Khurana dropped a picture note on her IG handle, announcing her breakup with her longtime beau, Asim Riaz. The diva highlighted different religious beliefs as the primary reason behind their split. Moreover, Himanshi expressed that she and Asim do not hold any grudges against one another and have mutually decided to move on in their lives. Interestingly, Himanshi deleted her post soon after. Nevertheless, a screengrab of her post was taken by her fans, which was later circulated on the internet. The post read as:
“YES, We are not together anymore, All the time we have spent together has been great but our togetherness comes to an end Now. The journey of our relationship was great and we are moving forward in our lives. With due respect to our respective religions we are sacrificing our love for our different religious beliefs. We have nothing against each other. We request you to respect our privacy. Himanshi”.
Further, in the same day, Himanshi also shared another picture post on her IG story, wherein she clarified that both of them had tried to save their relationship till the end, and emphasised that it wasn’t just a decision taken overnight. Himanshi also highlighted that she and Asim still love one another, but it was luck and destiny which weren’t on their side.
Right after Himanshi announced her breakup, a screenshot of an alleged chat between the ex-couple also leaked on the internet, wherein the duo can be seen having a chat about announcing their split publicly. The chats showcased Asim asking Himanshi to reveal the real reason for their breakup. In her response, the latter replied that she posted it but removed the same as she was concerned that people would target Asim for the same.

On December 7, 2023, Asim Riaz also took to X (formerly Twitter) and penned a note confirming his breakup with Himanshi Khurana. He clearly highlighted that religious differences made them go different ways, and he even sought that everyone must respect their privacy over the matter. He wrote:
“Yes Indeed we both agreed to sacrifice our love for our respective religious beliefs. We both are 30+ and we have full right to take these mature decisions and we made it. We’ve decided to part ways amicably, embracing our individual journeys. Respect for Himanshi and our diverse path and yes indeed i told her to write the real reason for our separation. Request you to all to respect our privacy."
