Recently, in an interaction with her fans, which went viral on Reddit, Samantha asked them about the major life lesson that helped them in their personal growth and penned:
“If personal growth had a highlight reel, what would be the ‘blooper’ you laugh about now, and what’s the ‘Oscar-worthy’ moment where you nailed a major life lesson?”

The actress initiated the conversation by opening up about her most significant mistake in life. She further wrote how she couldn't understand her likes and dislikes, as they were constantly influenced by her partner. However, Samantha added that she learned a valuable lesson during the most difficult times in her life, which boosted her personal growth. She penned:
“Perhaps the most significant mistake was my failure to understand my own likes and dislikes, as they were constantly influenced by the partner I had during that period. On the other hand, my moment of immense personal growth occurred when I recognised that even during the most difficult times, there was a valuable lesson to be learnt.”
As soon as the post went viral on Reddit, fans started wondering if Samantha was talking about her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya. Reacting to the post, one user wrote, “Assuming this is about Chay… She had to break out of the marriage to find her true self.” Another added, “Ugh, if you watch even a single interview of theirs, it’s very, very easy to understand their dynamic. He puts her down CONSTANTLY. I think he was really insecure because even his family was speaking about her in interviews and a huge superstar and their favorite actress and stuff."

Earlier, in an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Samantha Ruth Prabhu opened up about her failed marriage with Naga Chaitanya for the first time and revealed how it impacted her. The actress revealed that soon after her and Naga's separation, her health deteriorated, and her work was immensely affected. Reflecting on the difficult times she went through in the last two years, Samantha said:
"When I hit an all-time low of, well, a failed marriage, and my health and work were getting affected, it was like a triple whammy; boom, boom, boom. You know, people go down for far less than what I endured for the last two years or so. During that time, I read about actors who have gone through health issues and made a comeback, or suffered trolling or anxiety. And reading their stories helped me. It gave me strength to know that if they did it, I can, too."
