Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the most sought-after actresses in the South Indian film industry. The actress has taken a break from acting for a few months now, and she has been spending her time travelling and healing. Samantha also went on a meditation retreat for rejuvenation in Coimbatore and even travelled to Bali with her friend for a fun getaway. The actress also reportedly travelled to the US for her myositis treatment.
On October 12, 2023, Samantha Ruth Prabhu took to her IG handle and revealed that she was in hospital and getting treatment amid her battle with myositis. In the picture, the actress was seen lying on a hospital bed with drips attached to her hand. Atop the photo, which has now gone viral, Samantha penned details about the various advantages of the medical help she is getting at the hospital.

A few days back, during the Q&A session, when a fan complimented Samantha Ruth Prabhu on her clear skin, she gave an honest response. The actress replied that her skin suffered a lot due to the excessive amount of steroid shots, which she took for treatment of her autoimmune disease, Myositis. The fan asked Samantha, "How is your skin so clear?" Responding to the same, she revealed that her skin is not clear and she has been using a filter. She said:
"It's actually absolutely hot. Chinmayi Sripada is going to fix that, she promised. She's going to make my skin glossy. Actually because of this issue, I had to be on so much of steroids, I actually had to do a lot of steroid shots so it really, really messed up my skin, gave me a lot of pigmentation. So no, this is a filter guys."
Earlier, on October 8, 2023, Naga Chaitanya posted an adorable picture with Samantha Ruth Prabhu's pet dog, Hash on his IG handle. For the unversed, Hash was co-adopted by Naga and Samantha, but after their divorce, he has been living with his mommy. Thus, when Naga shared the picture, he seemingly raised many eyebrows and hinted at the possibility of his reunion with Samantha.

While the rumours about Samantha and Naga's reunion were all over the internet, the former put an end to it for once and all. It so happened that on October 10, 2023, Samantha shared some photos of herself decked up in a pink-hued saree at a Dubai event on her IG handle. In the photos, the actress was seen flaunting her curves, but it was the missing tattoo she had related to her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya on her ribs, that caught everyone's attention. It looked like either Sam got the tattoo removed or covered it with makeup or photoshop.
