It was in 2010, when Indian Tennis sensation, Sania Mirza had begun her forever journey with Pakistani cricketer, Shoaib Malik. After 8 years of marital bliss, Sania and Shoaib had embraced parenthood and had welcomed their little munchkin, Izhaan Mirza Malik on October 30, 2018. Izhaan is the heartbeat of the Mirza-Malik clan and just like his star parents, Sania and Shoaib, Izhaan too enjoys a huge fandom.

When Sania was expecting Izhaan, she had attended the UN Women India's launch of #MujheHaqHai campaign event, wherein she had revealed that their child won’t just take his/her father’s family name (i.e. Malik) forward but will have ‘Mirza Malik’ as the surname. Hence, Sania and Shoaib had decided to name their sonshine, Izhaan Mirza Malik. The doting parents love sharing glimpses of their little wonder and their respective social media handles are visual treats with pictures and videos of their little wonder.
On May 13, 2021, Sania Mirza shared adorable pictures of her Eid celebrations with Shoaib Malik and Izhaan Mirza Malik. For the celebrations, Sania twinned with her baby boy, Izhaan as she opted for a green kurta and matching green palazzo pants, whereas little Izzi was seen in a green kurta and white pyjama. Posing for some amazing pictures, the mother-son duo proved that twinning is winning. Along with the pictures, Sania wrote, “Twinning and winning my laddoo.”
Sania also shared pictures with her shauhar, Shoaib Malik. Wishing everyone on Eid and sharing glimpses of their failed attempts to pose, Sania wrote, “Eid Mubarak from us to you. Ps- swipe to see what happens when we attempt to take typical post pics.”
Last year Izhaan had celebrated Eid with his amma and nanu. Sania had shared an adorable picture with Izhaan reflecting Eid vibes. In the picture, Sania could be seen sitting on the floor, holding her boy, Izhaan, as the mother-son duo flashed their beautiful smiles. In the picture, Sania and Izhaan could be seen twinning in white to celebrate the festival. Sharing the picture, she had written, “Eid vibes @izhaan.mirzamalik” atop it. Izhaan's nanu had also shared a cute picture with him and had captioned it as “With my 'Eidi' - Izhaan Mirza Malik.”

On October 30, 2020, Izhaan Mirza Malik had turned 2 and to mark his birthday, his parents had posted heartfelt wishes for him. Sania Mirza had posted a candid click of little Izhaan and a family picture and had poured her heart out in a long note, wishing him on his birthday. Sania had written, "Happy birthday to this boy who lights up my world, who is my world and who changed my world. We love you much, my baby boy. You give us so much unconditional love, happiness laughs and cuddles that it fills up our heart. May Allah guide you and give you everything you wish forever. We love you more than anything or anyone in this world. @izhaan.mirzamalik."
From teaching duas to Urdu words, Sania has made sure that little Izzi knows everything about his culture. While scrolling through our Instagram handle a few months back, we had stumbled upon an adorable picture of Izhaan offering namaz with his amma, Sania. In the picture, Izhaan could be seen sitting on a mat in front of Sania, who had covered herself in a hijab. The mother-son duo was engrossed in their prayer, offering their daily namaz and it was a sight to behold.
