Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukerji’s little one, Adira turned a year older on December 9, 2023. To celebrate the same, the doting parents organised a huge birthday bash. For the unversed, Rani and Aditya have opted for an absolute no-picture policy for Adira, so that she grows up without extra media attention. Much like all other bashes thrown by the power couple, the birthday was no different as it was attended by the who’s who of the film industry. And now, we came across some cheerful inside glimpses from the birthday bash.
Taking to her IG stories, Shilpa Shetty dropped some postcard-worthy glimpses from Rani Mukerji’s daughter, Adira’s birthday bash. The party was themed around Christmas, and the entire venue was decorated with ambient lights and plenty of Christmas trees, adorned beautifully. In the first glimpse, Shilpa could be seen posing with the host herself, Rani Mukerji, who looked beautiful in a red-hued off-shoulder dress. She complemented her outfit with a red hair band and a bold red lipstick. Shilpa, on the other hand, wore an orange-hued tank top, which she paired with denim.

The next glimpse featured Shilpa and Rani, along with choreographer, Vaibhavi Merchant. The trio shelled BFF goals as they posed for the camera together. The next glimpse featured Shilpa along with her daughter, Samisha posing with muses dressed as elves and a figurine of Santa Claus. Samisha stole hearts with her cutesy attire, as she wore a red and black checkered dress, teamed with black stockings. The following picture featured Samisha posing with an snowman mascot. The final picture captured Shilpa and her sister, Shamita Shetty, posing for a selfie against a decorated Christmas tree.
A few hours back, we also caught a glimpse of the several guests who made their way to attend Adira’s birthday bash. First up, we spotted Kareena Kapoor’s little one, Jehangir Ali Khan attending the event along with her nanny. The tiny tot made grumpy faces as his pictures were snapped by the paparazzi. Up next, we also spotted Alia Bhatt clad in yellow attire, arriving for Rani Mukerji’s daughter, Adira’s birthday bash.
Karan Johar, accompanied by his twins, Yash and Roohi also arrived at the birthday venue. For the unversed, the duo is great friends with Adira, with whom they share the same taekwondo class. Neil Nitin Mukesh also arrived at the birthday bash, along with his daughter, Nurvi.

In one of her previous interviews, Rani Mukerji was asked as to why nobody could trace even a single picture of her daughter, Adira from her own birthday bash. In her response, the actress mentioned that it was a decision wholeheartedly taken by her husband, Aditya Chopra. Elaborating more, she said:
“It is single-handedly my husband’s decision. In this, he has no interest in taking my advice or my opinion. This department, he is like NO, I don’t want her pictures. And for me, it’s very important that when you are in a relationship, there are times when I would say that OK, this is IT and you have to listen and the same with him.”
