Shreya Ghoshal Dons Gorgeous Red Saree As She Receives 5th National Award, Says 'God Has Been Kind'

Shreya Ghoshal is hailed as one of the top female singers of the nation. On October 17, 2023, Shreya was in the capital to receive her fifth National Award for Best Playback Singer Female. The singer looked super happy as the award was presented to her by Indian President Draupadi Murmu. For those who don't know, Shreya is known for lending her voice to famous songs like Main tenu samjawan ki, Manwa laage and many more.

Shreya Ghoshal expressed gratitude after receiving her fifth National Award

Shreya took to her Instagram handle and posted a video from the event. She looked stunning in a gorgeous red Kanjeevaram saree, which she chose for the special occasion. Shreya styled it with a matching red-toned blouse and looked super pretty. She kept her look subtle with hair left open in beachy waves. Along with it, Shreya penned a heartfelt note, expressing her gratitude. She wrote:

Shreya Ghoshal has her own day celebrated across the world

Not many know that Shreya Ghoshal is not just famous in India but across the world. She was bestowed upon the highest honour by the Governor of The United States of Ohio, Mr Ted Strickland who had declared the 26th day of June as ‘Shreya Ghoshal Day' in 2022. Fans across the world celebrated it by posting videos of their favourite songs sung by Shreya.

Shreya Ghoshal's personal life

Shreya Ghoshal tied the knot with Shiladitya Mukhopadhyaya in 2015. And it was in 2021 when Shreya was blessed with a baby boy. The gorgeousness beautifully expressed the joy she had felt with the arrival of her baby boy in her IG post. Sharing the news, she had written:

"God has blessed us with a precious baby boy this afternoon. It’s an emotion never felt before. @shiladitya and I, along with our families, are absolutely overjoyed. Thank you for your countless blessings for our little bundle of joy."
