Sunidhi Chauhan is one of the most sought-after singers in the Indian music industry. From peppy dance numbers to romantic melodies, the singer has effortlessly aced every song with her soulful voice. While Sunidhi carved a niche for herself in the musical world, she is often compared with her peers and contemporaries, especially Shreya Ghoshal. For the unversed, Sunidhi and Shreya started their singing careers in films almost around the same time, and since then, the two have been pitted against each other.
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Sunidhi Chauhan opened up about her equation with Shreya Ghoshal and revealed that she doesn't have a rivalry with the fellow singer. She even elaborated that she shares a great bond with all her peers, and whenever they meet, it's a party. Sunidhi said:
“That’s exactly what we are doing. Not just Shreya, there are so many other singers. Shilpa Rao, Shalmali (Kholgade), Niti (Mohan)… you have to look at us when we meet. It's a party. We love meeting each other. We chat, we crack up. We're just here for the music, and the love for it, purely.”

Talking about the comparisons in the music industry, Sunidhi Chauhan mentioned that such fan wars have existed since the 1960s and added that people who say such things feel happy doing so. Stating that they're doing their job, Sunidhi added:
“Jahan tak logo ki baat hai, unko ye karna chahiye. Kyunki unko wo karke khushi milti hai. They love to compare two people. I don't know unko kya numbers milte hain ussey. But unko kuchh toh milta hai. Toh unko karne do. Wo apna kaam kar rahe hain, hum apna kaam kar rahe hain."
Talking about Sunidhi Chauhan's career, she started singing when she was 4 years old. She became a household name when she appeared on the music reality show, Meri Awaaz Suno, on Doordarshan in 1996. Apart from lending her voice to many hit songs, Sunidhi also judged the 5th and 6th seasons of the show, Indian Idol, and appeared in other singing reality shows as a coach or a judge. The singer made her debut in the music industry at the age of just 13, and over the years, she has sung more than 2000 songs till now.

She began her career with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 2002 film, Devdas, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai, and Madhuri Dixit. Over the years, she has sung many memorable songs and is loved by almost everyone for her humble nature. If reports are to be believed, Shreya earns Rs. 25-27 lakhs per song and her net worth is around the estimated sum of Rs. 185 crores. On the other hand, Sunidhi reportedly charges Rs. 12-16 lakhs for a single song and net worth is estimated to be around Rs. 100 crores.
