Yami Gautam is counting the days to meet her soon-to-be-born baby. If reports are to be believed, Yami will deliver her child in June or July 2024. For the unversed, she is married to the eminent filmmaker, Aditya Dhar, and during the trailer launch event of their film, Article 370, the duo announced their pregnancy. Since then, the actress has time and again, opened up about various anecdotes from the newest phase of her life. Yet again, she delved into the last few preparations before finally welcoming her child into her life.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Yami Gautam revealed that her family has already reached Mumbai and her sister, Surilie, who is herself a mother, will be soon joining them. Further, she was asked about the ongoing preparations in her family for welcoming her soon-to-be-born child. To this, she mentioned that there aren't such traditional values attached to her culture and they don't believe in the concept of making a nursery. Instead, the actress revealed that they mostly focus on practical adjustments, giving space to the kid for when he or she will start exploring.

In the same conversation, Yami talked about her husband, Aditya's immense support for her during the entire phase of pregnancy. Further, she revealed the cute efforts her man is making for her in the last few weeks of her pregnancy. Revealing how he is extremely happy for the same, the doting wife mentioned that the couple often engages in discussions with their parents in order to get advice and wisdom from them. Moreover, the mommy-to-be revealed how Aditya attentively attends to her needs and interests. Thus, further recalling what her mother used to read during her own pregnancy, Yami shared:
"He is just very happy. He has got Amar Chitra Katha and Ramayana for me."
Earlier, in an interview with India Today, Yami Gautam had opened up about her pregnancy journey and called it 'beautiful'. The actress shared how amazing it felt when she learnt that soon she would embrace a beautiful gift of nature. Further adding that she and her husband are family-oriented people, she said:
"It has been a great journey and you never know what surprises life has lined up for you. You may spend time planning something and suddenly you are surprised with the most unexpected thing to happen. I am generally saying this. This is something so beautiful. We are both very family-oriented people. It is funny you how we didn’t even realise it is going to be three years of marriage for us till we started reading about it in the articles and newspapers.”

It was during the trailer launch event of their film, Article 370, when Yami and Aditya mesmerised everyone with the news of her pregnancy. She was seen flaunting her baby bump in a pretty white dress. However, she was also seen hiding her baby bump under her beige-hued coat. Moreover, what caught everyone's attention was when she got some help from her hubby, Aditya while climbing the stairs and making firm steps on the stage. Further, while interacting with the media, Aditya revealed that he and Yami are expecting their baby in a few months. He shared that soon, they would get to know if it's a 'Lakshmi' or 'Ganesh'.
