For the unversed, lockdown 2020 had come as a blessing for Yuzvendra and Dhanashree as it had begun their love story. On December 22, 2020, #DhanaSaidYuz and the two had tied the knot. The couple had announced their wedding by sharing pictures on their IG handles. For the wedding, while Yuzvendra had worn a beige sherwani with a red turban and a matching red stole, Dhanashree had opted for a red lehenga with maroon undertones and had accentuated her look with a choker neckpiece, a mathapatti and a nath.

From celebrating happy days to standing by each other through the difficult phases, Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma are truly each other’s best half. As it is Yuzvendra Chahal’s birthday today, i.e., on July 23, 2021, his wife, Dhanashree Verma shared a couple of pictures with him and in one of those, we can see her engagement ring sparkling as she held her hubby’s hand. Along with the pictures, Dhanashree also penned a long, beautiful birthday wish for Yuzvendra.
To wish her husband, Dhanashree mentioned Yuzvendra’s qualities and how she is proud of him. She wrote, “When you talk about being humble, being kind, helpful, being polite, selfless and to carry those qualities along with some serious skills then that’s Mr Yuzvendra Chahal. You have no airs about your status and that’s not easy to achieve at this level. What you do for the people and for the country is unbeatable. You have a big heart. Last year, before their wedding, Yuzvendra Chahal had celebrated his then-fiancee, Dhanashree Verma’s birthday. On September 27, 2020, to wish his ladylove on her birthday, Yuzvendra had shared two adorable pictures with Dhanashree and had penned a cute note. He had written, "Happy Birthday, Love! May this special day of yours be filled with love and blessings. Enjoy, and have fun. As I am always saying to you, what makes you happy makes me happy too. I love you."

Talking about their engagement, on December 23, 2020, Yuzvendra had shared a couple of pictures from the same on his IG handle. In the pictures, Yuzvendra was seen wearing designer, Tarun Tahiliani’s golden embroidered sleeveless jacket with a white kurta. On the other hand, Dhanashree had opted for a golden blouse with tassel-detailing on the hem, which was paired with an intricate-embroidered lehenga. Alongside it, Yuzvendra had written, "Everything was just so beautiful. Engagement day."
