Dharmendra is one of the iconic actors of his time. After making headlines with his kissing scene in the 2023 romcom, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, he was seen in the 2024 romcom, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. On the work front, he is part of the upcoming film, Ikkis, directed by Sriram Raghavan and co-starring Agastya Nanda. However, for a few days, Dharmendra's fans were worried after one of his posts, in which he looked exhausted. But now, if the reports are to be believed, the legendary actor has been recovering well.
A source close to the Deol family revealed to the Hindustan Times that Dharmendra had gone to the wedding of his granddaughter, Nikita Chaudhary, who is the daughter of Kiran Chaudhri and his daughter, Ajieta Deol. Over there, the ecstatic actor thought of grooving to some songs. But he apparently sustained injuries after he fell down and hurt himself. Fortunately, Dharmendra is all good now and resting in his home. In addition, if reports are to be believed, Dharmendra also went on a recreational road trip with his sons, Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol, to Udaipur after taking all precautions.

On March 1, 2024, Dharmendra took to his X handle late at night to share an update with his fans. The veteran actor posted a picture of himself in his nightdress, which included a black loose-fitted sweatshirt and printed pyjamas. The 88-year-old was seen seated on his bed while snacking on parathas and butter in the wee hours of the night. However, he looked extremely tired, and there seemed to be a paleness overshadowing his face. Sharing the photo, he wrote:
“Aadhi raat ho gayi...neend aati nahin..bhook lag jaati hai. baasi roti makhan ka saath bahut sawad lagta hai.”
Soon after the post was shared online, netizens became worried about Dharmendra's health. The actor's tired expression and a bit of a distraught look worried them. However, his fans became concerned about why he was eating dry roti. Many netizens dropped their reaction to the actor's post and asked about his health. Afterwards, Dharmendra replied to one of the comments and revealed that he had fractured his ankle. And now, by joining the dots, we can clearly understand the reason behind his injuries. The actor also asked for his fans’ good wishes and prayers. Later on, the actor deleted the post from his social media account.

Earlier, we had stumbled upon a beautiful video once shared by the veteran actor, Dharmendra. In the video, he was seen cycling while grinding flour, i.e., an instrument attached to a grinding machine. The evergreen actor looked handsome in a white tracksuit paired with matching coloured sneakers and a black cap. Moreover, he was heard saying, "Pees raha hoon. Exercise ke baahane hai, karte rehna chahiye". Finally, while sharing it, he also wrote a hilarious note, which was his iconic dialogue from the film, Sholay. He penned:
"Cycling cycling cycling and …..chakki peeecing …. and peecing …..and peecing ….Haha."
