Kapil Sharma has been winning hearts with his show, The Great Indian Kapil Show. The show went live on Netflix on March 30, 2024. Since day one of the show, it has created a separate fanbase. Many renowned celebrities like Ranbir Kapoor, Aamir Khan, Rohit Sharma and Parineeti Chopra graced the show and revealed unheard anecdotes from their personal and professional lives. However, we recently got hold of the whopping amount that Kapil and other members, including Archana Puran Singh and Sunil Grover, have charged for the show.
As per a recent report by News18, Kapil Sharma charges a whopping amount of Rs. 5 crore per episode. However, as per another report by DNA and Zee Hindustan, Kapil had charged a staggering amount of Rs. 26 crore for 5 episodes, which have not yet aired. On the other hand, the same report also added that Sunil Grover charges Rs. 50 lakh per episode on The Great Indian Kapil Show.

Other show members like Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda get Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 7 lakh, respectively, per episode, while Rajiv Thakur charges Rs. 6 lakh per episode. Archana Puran Singh also reportedly gets Rs. 10 lakh per episode on The Great Indian Kapil Show.
As Kapil Sharma's show reached a global level, Sunil Grover talked about the excitement. He stated that being on the show actually feels like a homecoming to him. As only the trailer of the show was launched back then, Sunil added that it was just a glimpse of the blast they had. He also said that it's like coming back to the place where they left off.
On the other hand, Kapil Sharma talked about his Global show, The Great Indian Kapil Show. The comedian-host added that all the cast of the show are close to each other on reel and in real life, and coming back to the show is actually a reunion for them. Kapil also jokingly added that all of them love Archana Puran Singh, and he had to say this because she’s holding his house help hostage.

Earlier, in an interview with The Indian Express, Archana Puran Singh talked about her 'fake laughter' on The Kapil Sharma Show. The actress stated that she was not happy with the fact that people used to say that she laughed even at the bad jokes. She added that she had been labelled as 'mad' because people used to think that she laughed for nothing. In the same interview, Archana mentioned that editing can do anything, and thus, the clip of her laughter would be attached to every joke.
