For the ones who don’t know, the lovebirds tied the knot twice. Firstly, they had secretly gotten married to each other in a very low-key profile wedding on November 11, 2011. Then, in the year 2014, the couple got married again and this time, in a destination wedding in Las Vegas with full dhoom-dhaam. Expressing her feelings on the same, Mahhi had then posted on social media, “D day Tom as jay n me get married again in a church in Vegas cnt wait.”
Mahhi Vij took to her official Instagram handle and shared a lovely picture of her feet, Jay’s feet and a pair of baby shoes, along with their birth years. Jay and Mahhi are ardent social media users and they keep posting lovely wishes for each other. On April 1, 2019, which happened to be Mahhi’s 35th birthday, Jay had taken to his official Instagram handle to wish his ladylove. Commenting on the same, the actress had once stated, “A lot of people keep asking my friends if they are our kids because we feel that they are our kids. We want to give them best in our capabilities. I don’t care what people say they have all the time in the world to talk. They stay with us we have no issues of them being a part of our space. Kids are adorable, Jay and I love them."
Revealing her future plans, she had added, "We want to educate them and yes in future even if we have our own kids we will give them same life. We will not differentiate." Sharing if she is a possessive wife, Mahhi had once told an online tabloid, “I am possessive but not an insecure wife. And I think every woman is possessive towards her husband. I don’t fear losing Jay. He can’t stay away from me for more than half an hour.
