She also impressed her massive fanbase with her stint in the reality show, Bigg Boss 16. Just a few days ago, the actress made it to the headlines as she confirmed that her father, Touqeer Hassan Khan is all set to get married again. However, the celebrations have begun at Touqeer's home, and the videos and photos of the same have surfaced online, leaving the fans in awe.
Glimpses from Touqeer Hassan Khan's pre-wedding bash have been doing rounds on the internet. A video from the mehendi night went viral, wherein Sumbul Touqeer Khan looked gorgeous as she donned a red-coloured suit. She paired her suit with a white-coloured dupatta and kept it simple. The actress has taken to her IG handle and dropped a photo where she could be seen flaunting the mehendi in her hand. In another video that Sumbul reshared on her IG story, we can have a glimpse that the space was filled with their near and dear ones, and everyone is having a blast with naach gaana. The video also showed Sumbul Touqeer vibing in the song, Dhol Baaje Re.

Several media reports have suggested that Sumbul Touqeer Khan's father, Touqeer Hassan Khan is all set to get married for the second time. Reports claimed that Touqeer Hassan would marry Nilofer, a divorcee, and she also has a daughter named Izra from her first marriage. However, it was Sumbul who confirmed the same news and also expressed her excitement about the same. In an interview with The Times Of India, sharing the details about the same, Sumbul mentioned that her father has been her and her sister's greatest source of inspiration and they are happy for him.
In the same interview, the actress shared that she and her sister are looking forward to their new sister joining the family. Further, in the interview, Sumbul shared that her bade papa, i.e., Iqbal Hussain Khan, convinced Touqeer Hassan to get married again. Sumbul added:
"We are very happy and looking forward to welcoming them into our family. Along with our father's wife, a new sister will also join our family and we are extremely excited about it. Our bade papa Iqbal Hussain Khan played an instrumental role in this marriage. I am grateful to him."
Soon after the news of the second marriage of Touqeer Hassan Khan made rounds on social media, he confirmed the same and said that it is his daughters' plan who have been wanting him to get married for ten years. Talking about the same, Sumbul's father told ETimes:
"Well, Sumbul and Saniya have been wanting me to marry since 10 years. Yeh inki saazish hai, bade papa ke saath milkar, ghabrahat ho rahi hai. Would talk more about Nilofer and our wedding only later."

For the uninformed, Sumbul Touqeer's parents parted ways when she was six years old. Time and again, the actress heaped praises on her father. Once in an interview with ETimes, Sumbul talked about finding a bride for her father. She shared that the experience was not good but as she wanted her father to be remarried so she would definitely want him to be ready for the same.
