It was back in 2018 when Shweta Bachchan Nanda launched her own clothing line, MxS World, in collaboration with designer, Monisha Jaising. She also hosted a star-studded event for the same. From the Bachchan clan to the star kids, everyone arrived in style for the event. However, it was Abhishek Bachchan's ex-flame, Karisma Kapoor's presence at the same event that raised eyebrows. For the event, she wore a black-hued glittery pant-suit and exuded boss lady vibes. However, it was Shweta's bonding with Karisma that became the talk of the town, considering how, after the latter's breakup with Abhishek, none from the Bachchan clan talked to Karisma, nor did she.

As per an old report by the Deccan Chronicle, an insider from the MxS World launch event told them that Shweta was the one to break the ice between her and Karisma, considering no one can hold grudges for one another forever. The source also added that there was a lot of affection between Shweta and Karisma. The report could be read as:
"There was a sincere affection between them. For years; no member of the Bachchan family spoke to Karisma. Now, Shweta has broken the ice, and rightly so. You can't hold grudges forever."
As per an old report by Filmibeat, in several videos from the event, the cold vibes between Shweta Bachchan and her bhabhi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, had been pretty clear. As per the same report, Shweta greeted each and every guest except Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at the event. On the other hand, some even pointed out how everyone promoted Shweta's clothing brand by donning outfits of the brand, while Aishwarya restrained herself from doing the same, and she wore a pretty dress from the shelves of the designer duo, Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
As per several reports, at his sister, Shweta Bachchan's clothing brand, MxS World launch event, Abhishek Bachchan completely ignored his ex-ladylove, Karisma Kapoor. As per several reports, when Abhishek and Aishwarya were posing for the paps, Karisma arrived at the venue. However, watching the same, Abhishek went straight inside the venue with Aishwarya and restrained himself from greeting his ex.

For those who don't know, Karisma Kapoor got engaged to Abhishek Bachchan in 2002, on the occasion of Big B's 60th birthday. However, after four months, the ex-couple called their courtship quits for the reasons best known to them. However, a report in Deccan Chronicle claimed that the reason behind their breakup was that Karisma wanted Abhishek to move out from Jalsa, while Aishwarya never demanded any such thing as she knows the importance of being in touch with parents.
