Weddings are no less than a festival, be it in India or Pakistan. Soon after the main wedding ceremony wraps, the newly-wed pair starts prepping for their reception, and this is precisely what Shaheen and Ansha Afridi did. Ace Pakistani bowler, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Shahid Afridi’s daughter Ansha got nikahfied in Karachi and soon after hosted their grand wedding reception in Islamabad.
For the unversed, Shaheen and Ansha Afridi got nikahfied on February 2023 in a private ceremony. On September 2023, the couple held their other wedding festivities, and soon after, the Afridi couple held their rukhsati on September 20, 2023. Their rukhsati was held at the lavish DHA golf and country club, Karachi, a venue that exuded opulence.

On September 21, 2023, the couple hosted their grand walima celebration, and it had eminent personalities from all the realms of Pakistani industries. The reception was a star-studded affair, and Pakistani biggies like Shoaib Akhtar, Ramiz Raja, Babar Azam, Imam-ul-Haq, Naseem Shah, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Rizwan, Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan in attendance.
Former Pakistani all-rounder player, Shahid Afridi is the coolest father-in-law in town, and the player proved it yet again, when he indulged in a fun banter with his son-in-law, Shaheen Afridi. The father-son duo were posing for the camera when a relative asked Shahid to show some love for Shaheen. To this, the former cricket said that Shaheen is now a grown man and is much taller than him to show love. The son and father-in-law duo then posed for pictures and were all smiles.

Shaheen Afridi looked dapper in his fitted suit for his walima night. The Pakistani bowler opted for an all-black-three-piece suit for his walima and accessorised himself with a minimal diamond brooch and black-gold watch. However, what shone all through his look was his happiness, which added extra oomph to his appearance.
